EMT Requirements

21 Years of age or older – Preferred*
1 Year of experience – Preferred
NREMT – Preferred
Colorado State EMT
CPR / BLS Certification
IV Certification – Required within the first 90 days
EKG Certification – Preferred
Clear MVR
Pass preemployment background and drug screen

Paramedic Requirements

21 Years of age or older – Preferred*
1 Year of experience – Preferred
NREMT-P – Preferred
Colorado State Paramedic
CPR / BLS Certification
ACLS
PALS – Required within the first 6 Months

** Candidates for those between 18-20 will be considered based on experience, training and education.
